Why Visit Sandals Resorts!
It was a privilege in visiting one of the luxury resorts with Sandals. We stayed at the Sandals Jamaica South Coast Resort. I have always wanted to visit Sandals and I recently had the opportunity to take advantage to seeing what the Highs were all about.
I can tell you this. I will most definitely attend again. I know you have heard this saying, “You pay for what you get.” and the price is worth every experience. As I think about; I wish I was there right now. Let me tell you why Sandals to me stands by what they say.
Customer Service
Once we landed at our destination; we received 100% customer service. I never had to ask for anything and not get it. I never received any attitudes from the staff, I never felt not important throughout my entire stay. If I could grade them over 5 stars that is what I would do.
Environment
The Scenery was so beautiful. The grounds were so manicured; there was nothing bad about this place. The beach was clean, the restaurants were spotless, the pool was clear, the bar areas were sanitized to your approval. Like I said, there was nothing negative about the sights and buildings.
Rooms
Our room was the Junior Honeymoon Suite with the Oceanview; and the view to the ocean was so peaceful. The balcony was my place each morning for mediation. The room decor was catered to the ocean and the bed was so comfortable.
Each room came with Premium Drinks and a Mini Fridge that was stocked each morning. Now that was a Perk by itself, and I promise you they stocked it every day with the drinks you wanted. We never had to wait for anything.
The Room attendant assigned to our floor was good as hell. When I tell you we walked in on her, and she was scrubbing like her life depended on it. I was like WOW. She is cleaning; I mean nothing like when you go to the hotels, and they just change the sheets. SUPERB.
All Excusive
I know you are saying all resorts are All Exclusive, but with Sandals you have additional perks like water sports, such as Scuba Diving, Saling, etc.
No Tipping:
Tipping is not allowed, but you just want to base on the service you are getting. The staff is wearing tags stating tips are not needed. But if you get the suite with the Bulter, you do have the option to tip them. But remember; they are catering to your every need and of course you will tip.
Now there are some Negative checks with Sandals, and I know you are saying that nothing is perfect. Remember the saying; if there is more positive than negative you have a winner.
Distance
The drive from the airport to the resort is too long. you have to make sure you set your mind to what is about to happen; a long drive. (1 hour and 30 mins) But the good part is that the driver is so entertaining you will have so much fun on the way there. Also, the excursions are at least an hour away. So, make sure you adjust your time wisely.
Food Options
If you are like me and you don’t eat a lot of things such as meat and dairy; your options are very slim. I am not saying they do not have any options for you, but they are not that big in number.
We loved this place so much we book our next vacation with them in 2023 at their new resort (Sandals Royal Curacao) This time we booked the room with the Bulter. When we booked with Sandals Loyalty team the resort dates for August were almost gone. I was glad we book while we were there.
If you are looking for a vacation where you will be treated like no other; where you can forget about everything you left behind. Please book with Sandals. It will be worth it.
